Obi-Wan Kenobi

Worked as Background Alterations/Fitter for Star Wars episodic.

Supervisor:  Lynda Foote

Key Background Costumer:  Leigh Bell

Duties include:  fitting and altering background sci-fi costumes, making sure all pieces were 'locked in' so set costumers don't have to fuss with pieces, millinery, some pattern drafting, occasional assist with main workroom. 

Fun fact:  There was no greater sentence spoken then when Key Background Costumer Leigh Bell asked "can you make some weird hats for the background?"  My love of both Star Wars and millinery collided on this project!

Bonus Fun Fact:  Leia's dressers' collars was a challenge to pattern--with them being bias cut on the top and straight-grain on the bottom (iykyk!)  It took 3 days of prototypes to be able to pass the pattern off to another shop.
